Deb Shannon of Kittywake Designs has graciously accepted our invitation to do an Intro to Leatherwork class with us! In this class you will learn more than you could have asked for about the art of working with leather. All while making a sweet little coin purse or other small leather good.
When do you hand sew, when do you use a machine? When do you glue and finish edges? What is "hardware" and when/why do you use it? We can answer those questions and much more! In this class we will go over the basics of hand working leather. We will be going old school and learning the beautiful art of hand sewing leather. No machine required!
All supplies are included: We have a selection of wonderful leathers, tools and hardware for you to choose from. Just bring yourself and be ready to have some fun!
Class Level: This class is for Beginner Sewists. No experience necessary!
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received 72 hours before class start, will be eligible for full refund. Any cancelations after this point or no-shows forfeit their class fees. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for class may be a forfeit of class fees.
